 In your own words, what does it mean to be in a state of play?  - State of play means being present in the current situation and aware of your surroundings; you must be focused.   Where do you discover your best ideas? - In my opinion, your best ideas come from the outside- especially from social interactions. Every great idea is a sequence or mutation of another idea that has already been brought to life. What do you like to create? - As a programmer, I like to create code. But I also like creating animations. Explore the graphic design work and art of Paula Scher, Choose one of her pieces that you absolutely love. Post the image. Discuss its appeal / reflect on your choice in writing. - Paula's approach was to copy a typographic style and turn it into a record cover. I like her design for Boston's self-titled 1976 album. The cover depicts three guitar-shaped spaceships fleeing an exploding planet.

Calligram

Artistic statement Using Adobe Illustrator, I attempted to recreate this calligram of Spiderman. I picked this for my inspiration as I've been reading comics and watching Superhero movies since I was a kid. It's always been a means of escape for me. Being someone with no experience in Adobe Illustrator, I struggled a bit while crafting this masterpiece. I kept the original image as the background and used the pen tool to trace the outlines. After I had traced the outlines, I used the Type on Path tool and copy pasted the best quotes from the Spiderman movies. Though the final product didn't turn out like the original, I am satisfied with what I achieved.  Letter to future-self Dear Hrishit, What's up G, I hope you're happy, happy with your life, your family, your friends, and with yourself.
